Powering Yespark's platform through open and scalable APIs

Yespark is embedding EV charging directly into its parking platform across France, Belgium, and Italy. Powered by Spirii's open APIs, charging now behaves as a native feature – from location management to real-time charger control – across 1,000 charging stations and 700+ cities.

About

SK Energi - Spirii partner company

As EV charging becomes part of larger digital ecosystems, software integration is no longer optional. Parking operators, mobility platforms, and property managers need charging to work seamlessly inside their own products, workflows, and user experiences. This is exactly where Spirii’s API-first approach delivers value.

A strong example is the collaboration with Yespark, a French company digitising access to private parking across cities. By integrating Spirii’s APIs, Yespark is embedding EV charging directly into its platform, extending parking management into a fully connected mobility service.

EV charging as a native part of the partner platform

For partners like Yespark, EV charging must behave like a native feature, not a separate system. This requires full programmatic access to charging infrastructure, devices, users, and transactions. Spirii’s APIs are designed precisely for this purpose, enabling partners to build, automate, and scale charging operations directly from their own systems.

Yespark is currently integrating four core Spirii APIs, each addressing a critical operational layer.

At the foundation are Locations APIs, which are already delivered and confirmed. These allow Yespark to create, manage, update, and delete charging locations programmatically, as well as fetch existing locations on demand. This ensures that EV charging sites remain fully aligned with Yespark’s parking inventory as it evolves.

On the hardware layer, Charge box APIs are being integrated to give Yespark direct control over chargers. This includes creating charge boxes, as well as performing basic operational actions such as rebooting or resetting devices. These capabilities significantly reduce operational friction and enable first-line support directly within the partner’s environment.

Real-time control down to connector level

Beyond chargers themselves, Spirii’s EVSE endpoint APIs provide fine-grained control at connector level. Through this integration, Yespark can receive live data from charge boxes, remotely start and stop charging, and resolve issues such as stuck connectors by unlocking them remotely. This level of control is essential for delivering a reliable end-user experience without manual intervention or escalations.

Access management is handled through the Tokens APIs, which allow partners to manage both physical RFID cards and virtual tokens. By integrating this layer, Yespark can fully control who is allowed to charge, under which conditions, and through which identifiers, directly from its own systems.

Together, these APIs transform EV charging from a standalone service into a deeply embedded capability.

Built for scale, automation, and partner innovation

Spirii’s APIs are designed with scalability and reliability in mind. They follow a consistent structure, are well documented, and are built to support automation across thousands of locations and devices. For partners, this means faster development cycles, fewer manual processes, and the freedom to innovate on top of a stable charging backend.

Beyond current integrations, Spirii’s API ecosystem opens the door to advanced use cases. From automated troubleshooting and smart access control to future integrations with parking sensors, energy systems, or dynamic pricing engines, partners can continuously expand their offerings without changing backend providers.

A shared vision for connected mobility

The collaboration between Spirii and Yespark highlights how open APIs accelerate innovation in electric mobility. By combining Yespark’s parking platform with Spirii’s charging intelligence, EV charging becomes a seamless extension of everyday mobility services.

For Spirii, partnerships like this demonstrate the full potential of an API-driven platform. Not just to operate chargers, but to enable entire ecosystems where charging, parking, and digital services work together effortlessly.

Together, Spirii and Yespark are showing how EV charging can scale through software. Flexible for partners, reliable for operators, and ready for the next generation of connected mobility.
