Spirii enters next phase with appointment of new CEO
Mathias Wiecher has been appointed CEO of Spirii. He succeeds Co-Founder Tore Harritshøj, who will step down after leading the company since its founding.

Edenred, the parent company of Spirii, has appointed Mathias Wiecher as the company’s new CEO, succeeding Tore Harritshøj, who has decided to step down alongside co-founder Torben Fog.
“Spirii has been on an incredible journey - from a small team of pioneers with a bold vision to the international company we are today, and I’m immensely proud of what we’ve built together,” says Tore Harritshøj. “Now feels like right moment to hand over, and I’m confident that Mathias is well positioned to lead Spirii forward.”
Mathias Wiecher (45) brings more than 12 years of international experience in eMobility, energy and transport, with a strong record of building and scaling innovative businesses across the sector.
He began his career in 2006 at the global management consulting firm A.T. Kearney, focusing on the energy sector and mergers and acquisitions. In 2014, he joined E.ON Group, where he held several senior leadership roles and played a key role in developing and expanding the company’s eMobility activities.
Most recently, since September 2024, he has served as General Manager of Energy & Charging Infrastructure at Einride, a leader in electric and autonomous transport solutions.
In addition to his executive roles, Mathias Wiecher previously served on the Board of Directors at Virta and was a member of the Supervisory Board at Hubject.
“I’m honored to take on the role as CEO of Spirii at such an exciting time,” says Mathias Wiecher. “Spirii has an incredibly strong foundation, a talented team, and a clear purpose. Together with Edenred, we have a unique opportunity to scale our solutions and play an even bigger role in driving the electric transition for fleets and companies across industries.”
Diane Coliche, Global COO Mobility of Edenred, welcomes Mathias Wiecher in his new role:
“Over the past years, Spirii has built a strong, market-leading offering within platform-based charging solutions. The company is now ready to scale even further across markets and I’m confident that Mathias is the right person to lead this next phase of growth, with the objective of helping fleets worldwide in their electrification journey, leveraging the full capabilities of the Edenred Group,” says Diane Coliche.
